Mirabai was born in Philadelphia and moved to San Francisco in 1998. She is trained in jazz and folk, and found the bhakti path in 2002.

Mirabai has studied Indian music and kirtan with Jai Uttal, Sargam Shah and Krishna Das.

Timothy Surya Das was born and raised in England, moving to San Francisco in 2000. He is a classically trained pianist and composer. He is a multi-insturmentalist playing keyboards, didgeridoo, native american flute and hammered dulcimer.

PJ. Born Denver, Co.  Introduced to yoga & initiated by Yogi Raj Sri Swami Satchidananda in 1972.  Classical Hindustani & music studies with Sargam Shaw.

 

 

Steve Bamm lives in Marin and is a devoted bhakta. He loves to provide a groove and a beat for his bhakti brothers and sisters.
Jonathan Boisseau lives in Mill Valley and has studied classical tabla at Ali Akbar College of Music with Tim Witter and Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri. A devotee of kirtan for 14 years, he has studied kirtan with Jai Uttal and most recently worked with composer and percussionist Geoffrey Gordon.  He also imitates John Wayne chanting Nataraj.
 Jason Guthrie is a multi percussionist in many styles, from latin, heavy rock, to classical Indian. Wide genre music appreciator and artist with a bachelors in sound from The Expression College in the East Bay. Currently studying Tabla at the Ali Akbar College of Music in San Rafael with Swapan Chauduri. 
Steven Meese was born on the east coast -started playing music at age 6-turned professional at age 15. The piano is his main instrument & also plays-bass,guitar,mandolin,keyboards and vocals. He has been playing kirtan for years with Geoffrey Gordon and in a duo with Bodhi Setchko called Setchko & Meese. He is also in a keyboard duo called Harmonic Healers-can be found at www.harmonichealers.com
Shanta-Marie is a native Californian. She came to a Kirtan once and never stopped. She has been known to say "there sure are a lot of things in life I am unsure of, this is not one of them" She says the path of bhakti chose her.
